What to Expect During Your First Visit
During your first visit, we will perform a comprehensive examination to get a complete picture of your oral and overall health.
We’ll also measure your gum pockets using a small instrument to gauge the depth between your gums and teeth. If the pockets are deeper than 4 millimeters, this may be a sign of gum disease. Early detection allows us to recommend the best treatments to restore your gum health.

X-rays and Cleanings
X-rays are taken as needed to give us a detailed view of your teeth and jawbone, allowing us to identify any potential issues that aren’t visible during a routine exam.
If necessary, we perform tooth scaling and root planing, which are treatments to remove plaque and tartar from below the gum line. We also provide a professional cleaning that removes soft plaque above the gum line, leaving your teeth feeling fresh and smooth.
New Patient Forms
To streamline your first visit, we encourage you to complete our New Patient Forms ahead of time. These forms help us better understand your medical history and dental needs, allowing us to provide you with the best care possible. You can download and fill out the forms directly from our website, or we can provide them when you arrive at our office.
